Our customers have now created more than 800 million square feet of floor plans, test fits and 3D visualizations with us. That’s double the 400 million we announced in January 2025.
What 800 million square feet looks like
It’s about 74 square kilometers of interior space, or roughly 32,000 office floors of 25,000 square feet each. Every one of those floors started as a brief and ended as a plan someone could make a decision on.
The growth has been fast. We set a goal of 100 million square feet when we launched in 2023. Our customers passed 400 million by early 2025. They’ve now doubled that again.
AI is changing how commercial real estate works
Brokers, landlords, tenants and architects are rethinking how they work. Planning that used to wait weeks for a design team now happens while the deal is still live. AI is the reason, and the shift is only getting started.
But that shift only works if people can trust what the AI hands them. AI that draws a plan is easy to find. AI you can make a real estate decision on is not.
That’s what we built. Our Space Intelligence draws on years of anonymized data from tens of thousands of floor plans and hundreds of thousands of rooms. And every plan is verified by one of our architects before it reaches you. Real data, real architects, every time.
AI overnight. Architect verified.
Speed is why customers use qbiq. A test fit that used to take weeks comes back overnight, while the deal is still taking shape.
But speed only counts if the plan holds up. A floor plan is a stack of design decisions: where the core sits, how far daylight reaches, how people move between desks and meeting rooms, what happens when headcount grows. A fast plan that gets those wrong just pushes the rework later.
That’s why every plan we deliver has a human in the loop. The AI generates the plan, and our in-house architects verify it before it reaches customers, checking circulation, daylight and space ratios. So the plan a broker or tenant sees the next morning is one that could actually be built.
“Speed is what people notice first. What makes it work is the human in the loop. The AI drafts the plan, and one of our architects verifies it. They ask what a good designer always asks. Where does the light land? How long is the walk from a desk to a meeting room? What breaks when the team doubles? Getting those right is what lets us deliver overnight instead of in weeks, without the plan falling apart in the next meeting. 800 million square feet tells me customers trust the plans, not just the speed.”- Yair Shmueli, qbiq Chief Architect
That changes how customers work. A landlord can show a prospect three layouts for the same floor in one meeting. A tenant can compare an open plan against a focus-heavy one before signing. An architect can start from a sound test fit and spend their time on what makes the space theirs.
Our customers’ number, not ours
The square footage comes from the people using qbiq every day, at firms including Brookfield Properties, JLL, Colliers, Skanska and IWG.
“When we launched in 2023, 100 million square feet felt like a stretch. Our customers went past it eight times over. That tells me something simple: when a good plan arrives overnight instead of in weeks, people use plans to make more decisions, and make them earlier. This milestone belongs to our customers, and they’re not slowing down. Our first billion square feet will have taken about four years. I expect the second billion to take one.”- Leeor Solnik, qbiq CEO and Co-Founder
The platform that got us here keeps moving
The qbiq that reached 800 million square feet isn’t the product that reached 400 million. Three recent additions show where we’re headed.
qbiq Studio lets you edit an AI-generated plan yourself, with no design queue. Move walls, resize and split rooms and change room types while seat counts, density and program fit update live. The architect-verified version and your edits sit side by side, and every change is tracked. Plans export to CAD, Revit, PDF or a 3D tour.
Design Analytics scores up to three layout alternatives side by side on six measures: program mix and density, layout efficiency, daylight and views, flow, proximity to shared spaces, and privacy. Set your own benchmarks and share results with a client through a report or a view-only link. It’s available on request now.
“Architects weigh these trade-offs on every plan: how much of the floor goes to corridors, which seats get daylight, where people will actually walk. Design Analytics puts a number on each one. It doesn’t replace the architect’s judgment. It shows the client why the judgment holds.”- Yair Shmueli, qbiq Chief Architect
Agentic SpacePlan is next. You direct the AI in real time: adjust the brief, steer the layout and compare alternatives before choosing a direction, with every decision traceable. It draws on what we’ve learned from 800 million square feet of anonymized plans. Early access is open now, starting with architects and design professionals. Request early access.
We’re just getting started
800 million square feet is a milestone, not a finish line. One billion is next, and the billion after that will come a lot faster. The platform that gets us there will look different again. What won’t change: plans that hold up to an architect’s eye, delivered while the decision is still open.
